There is a subtle grace as the turtle moves with the currents. Almost as if moving is the same as arriving.
The technique makes the surface appear to shift when the light changes. Something that comes on to be glimpsed rather than being observed.

Artist’s Reflection
When I look at the octopus, I experience seemingly opposite feelings at once. Within
one body there is so much movement and curiosity, yet also patience. It reflects how
rich and layered a personality can be.
